Fund operations are directed by the Board of Trustees, elected by the general membership of the Fund. The Trustees meet four to five times a year and are responsible for management and oversight of the Fund. They review financial performance, underwriting performance, and authorize all claim settlements.
Tony Kramer, Chair, Belding
Mr. Kramer represents Belding Fruit Storage Inc. He has been a member of the Fund since 2008 and board chair since 2018.
David Hackert, Trustee, Ludington
Mr. Hackert represents Indian Summer Co-op Inc. He has been a member of the Fund since 2007 and a member of the board since 2012.
Jordan Kiefer, Trustee, Lansing
Mr. Keifer represents JK Logix Inc. The company has been a member of the Fund since 2023. Jordan was appointed to the board of trustees in 2023.
John Koegel, Trustee, Flint
Mr. Koegel represents Koegel Meats, Inc. He and his company joined the Fund in 2019 and the board in 2021.
Kevin Konwinski, Trustee, Grand Rapids
Mr Konwinski represents Alliance Beverage Distributing. Alliance Beverage Distributing has been a member of the Fund since 2015. Kevin joined the board in 2022.
Doug Rath, Trustee, Frankfort
Mr. Rath represents Graceland Fruit Inc. He has been a member of the Fund since 2007 and a member of the board since 2018.
Laura Reed, Trustee, Traverse City
Ms. Reed represents North Bay Produce. She has been a member of the Fund since 2007 and a trustee 2012.
